Melania Trump Reveals To A Hospitalized Child What’s The Best Part Of Being First Lady — The Reason Will Amaze You

During a special Valentine’s Day to the National Institutes of Health’s Children’s Inn in Bethesda, Md., First lady Melania Trump, while having a conversation with Amber Negrete, 8 of California, one of the hospitalized children, told her that she enjoys the role of first lady because she has the most beautiful opportunity to meet and connect with young people like her.

Negrete suffers from giant axonal neuropathy, a neurodegenerative disorder that affects the peripheral and central nervous systems.

Trump spent a beautiful afternoon with patients between the ages of 4 and 25, who are staying at the nonprofit residence as they take part in clinical trial, and enjoyed a well-spent time in decorating holiday-themed cookies, as well as making and exchanging Valentine’s cards and gifts.

A little boy also gave Trump a Valentine’s Day bag.

Earlier, Trump took to Twitter and wrote that she was looking forward to a “very sweet afternoon” celebrating the holiday with the children.
